From the West!
A warm welcome from the West. At this
stage of a cold and snowy winter, nothing
could be better than good fellowship in lodge with
your brothers at Plymouth Rock #47.
We had a wonderful Lodge dedication & Mason of the
Year dinner. All of the attendees were rewarded with
an extremely enjoyable and informative evening with
our Worshipful Grand Master Ira Slaven and his lady
Gayle.
He spoke of Plymouth Rock and about Freemasonry.
Worshipful gave us information about some of the
concordant bodies of Masonry; York Rite, Eastern
Star and other. Grand Master Ira also gave a
fascinating explanation regarding the symbolism of
the Officer's Jewels.
Our kitchen that we have been hoping for will
become a reality, thanks to the efforts of Brothers
Dennis Frye, Dave Melton along with the support of
Dick L'Heureux. Everything has been measured,
designed and ordered.
Keep warm brothers and attend as many meetings as
possible. Let's help our Worshipful Master have a
fruitful and rewarding year with new brothers being
raised and participating in new functions and events.
