Greetings from the South!
First off I want to thank my wife Barbara and my
family for their support while I was Worshipful
Master in 2007. I also want to thank all my
Officers for their help and support. We had 6
dinners in our new location, and without the help from
Kim Slessor, Robin King, Cara Polak, Brenda Campbell
and Lisa L’Heureux for setting up the table for our dinners
we would not have had the success that we had, and last
but not least I want to thank everyone who attending our
dinners. We had a record turn out at all our dinner last
year.
Thank you to David Melton, Dennis Quatrine, Mark
Campbell, and Jason Reid for stepping up and taking
stations in our Lodge. To our Past Masters and the
members on our Lodge committees, thank you for all your
help. If I forgot mention someone thank you. Thank You
ALL for a wonderful year.
The Lodge donated money to several worthy causes and
sponsored a T-Ball team for special need kids who we plan
to sponsor in 2008. On November 8th we presented the 3
coaches and 4 helpers of the Western Wayne Wings with
the Edward A. Guest Awards, also awarded 26 Medallions
to the kids of the T-Ball Team.
I wish to thank Al Booth Sr, Jack Gibbs, Wilburn Fannin,
David Melton, Charles Tisdale, Albert Booth Jr, Richard &
Lisa L’Heureux, We all enjoyed cooking breakfast at the
Elks on Saturday mornings, and Eunice Fannin for her
Biscuit Gravy. All proceeds went to Charity for special
need kids.
Brother Dave Melton has volunteered to help me prepare
meals for our meetings. If you have any ideas on what
type of food that you would like to see at our Business and
Degree night please let me know.
